Hong Kong to Shenzhen

I’m have a canadian passport on vacation in Hong Kong and would like to go to shenzhen for a day trip. If I take the blue MTR line from Hong Kong to the end of line. Do I need a visa and if yes how and where?

Yes, you do. You can apply for a visa on arrival at Luohu Port. The visa office opens from 9:00-16:30 and you should go there as early as possible. It costs CNY 541.
