About:Visa on Arrival

VOA FOR SWITZERLAND

Hi
We are traveling to Hong Kong and want to visit Shenzhen for a day by train. VOA it's possible for Switzerland? And how much are the cost? And which Border do you recommend?

You are eligible for the VOA. From Hong Kong to Shenzhen, by train is infeasible. But you can take the metro to Luohu and go through the immigration inspection at the VOA office at Luohu Port. You can also take a ferry to Shenzhen Shekou Port and apply for the VOA at Shekou Port. The VOA will cost CNY 275.

I suggest you give yourself some time for the VOA and inspection as you may have to wait in line. The visa office generally opens from 9:00-16:30.
