About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do Sri Lankan need transit visa for less than 24 hours?

I am Sri Lankan passport holder, hope to travel Sri Lanka through Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU) from London Heathrow Airport. Do I need transit visa for less than 24 hours?

No, you do not need a transit visa because, if your stay is less than 24 hours, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa and you also do not have to announce anything to nobody in advance. You will just appear at the check-in, proceed to Chengdu and after that change a gate for your flight to London.

I am Asela (Sri Lankan) & I have a same problem as you. My transit also in TFU & less than 24 H. Do I need transit visa?

No Asela, you do not need any kind of visa. Your transit will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit.
