About:Hangzhou Travel

Late arrival at Hangzhou airport

Hoping for advice. Will be arriving late Hangzhou international airport at 10pm. Going to catch a train to Suzhou the next day. Don't speak Mandarin. What should I do? Stay overnight at nearby airport hotels, then go back to airport and take metro 1 to railway stn OR take taxi direct to hotel near railway stn? Pls also recommend an affordable hotel stay for a budget traveller. Many thanks.

It is better to stay near the train station. However, the 3 trains stations in Hangzhou all have trains departing to Suzhou. Would you mind telling me which one you will choose?

Hi Jessica.

TQVM for your reply. I'm going to Suzhou from Hangzhou, so I guess, I should take the train from Hangzhou East? Will appreciate it if you could suggest a good budget hotel for an overnight stay.

Metropolo Jinjiang Hotel (Hangzhou East Railway Station), about 400m from the station is recommended.

Thanks, Jessica. Do you have the hotel's name and address in Mandarin so that I can show it to the taxi driver? Also, do taxi drivers accept cash as I don't have e-wallet payment? Many thanks.
