About:China 72-hour Visa

Aud and NZ passports

We will be arriving by train from Hong Kong and staying in Shenzhen for 72 hours then leaving to Hong Kong by train, do we still need a visa?

This is not eligible for the visa-free transit. However, you can apply for a 5-day visa on arrival at Shenzhen Shekou, Luohu, and Huanggang port. Anyway, remember this visa on arrival can not be obtained by train. It has long queues and day quota so you should get there early as the visa office generally stops service at 16:30.
