About:

Afternoon day trip from Beijing

Is it possible do do this as a day trip if I leave Beijing in the afternoon, travel in Gubei water town until 8-9PM, and then return to Beijing? Is there still the train/bus back to Beijing?

It is hard as the town is a little far from Beijing. It takes at least 3 hours for a single journey.
