About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

taking the plane at Shenzhen

We go in China from 7 july 2024 to 21 july 2024 and after we go in HongKong. We want take the plane at Shenzhen the 27 july 2024 to come back in French. Are we need a visa to Shenzhen if we just stay at Shenzhen to take the plane ? thank

If I am correct, you do not need any kind of visa and you are perfectly fine to do exactly what you have planned, absolutely visa free... I like to say, as if you were traveling from France to UK. OK, you will formally fill out arrival/departure card as anybody who enters China, but this is just a couple of minutes of your time :)

P.S. When you have exited mainland China after your 15 days stay, you need just an overnight or two in some other country or eligible territory to return back to mainland China to enjoy new 15 days visa free. You case is a perfect example.
