No, there are no night trains from Beijing to Datong or Datong to Pingyao because the distance is not far.

From Beijing to Datong, there are only high speed trains available, which takes about 2 hours.

From Datong to Pingyan, the high speed train takes about 3-3.5 hours while the normal speed one takes about 5.5-8 hours.
