About:Visa on Arrival

VOA for the Day Port of Arrival

I am in HK i have a Mexican Passport can I go to Shenzen for the day and request a 24hour VOA at the arrival? If yes what are the Ports of entry and my best way to travel? Do I need to get my return ticket to the Immigration officer

There is no problem at all for you to obtain 5 days Shenzhen visa on arrival. You can obtain it at two overland border crossings: Huanggang and Lo Wu (Luohu) and also at Shekou port in Shenzhen if you take a ferry from Hong Kong. Just have in mind to come early at border crossings in order to obtain a visa because the crowds are a reality. You are advised to obtain a visa at Sheku by taking a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou. Please, just have in mind the opening hours of border crossings that you can find above on this site. The price for Mexican citizens should be 275 CNY.
