About:8 Tips for Filling Out Chinese Visa Application Form

L tourist visa

Hello.
I'm planning on visiting china on a tourist visa, I will meet my girlfriend there (she is a citizen of China) and she will be my guide and show me around Shanghai. Should I mention her in the application seeing as I'm applying for a tourist visa? Apologies, I'm not well travelled and just don't know how these things work and don't want to do the wrong thing. I do have my flight and a hotel already booked for early next year.

You can acquire an invitation letter from her, and it should include:
(1) Personal information of the invitee: name, gender, date of birth, passport number, etc.

(2) Information about the invitee’s visit to China: reason for coming to China, date of arrival and departure, place of visit, relationship with the inviting unit or inviter, who will pay for the travel, etc.

(3) Inviting party information: inviting party name, address, telephone number, official seal, legal representative or invitor’s signature, date, etc. (the information must be included in the text of the invitation letter)
