are we definetely will get visa on arrival if going to shenzhen from hongkong?

hello,,if we are entering shenzhen from hong kong, are our visa on arrival definetely going to be be approved? or many are rejected? anyone know? and can we go to another city in china from shenzhen if approved?and there is 5 days approval VOA, is it means we have to get out from china on the fifth day or can we get out at sixth day?

There is no guarantee at all. You will not know whether you will be granted a Shenzhen visa until the immigration official tells you that. Indonesians have had relatively poor success rate, honestly speaking. In other words, it is always the best option to take a ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou port in Shenzhen where the rejection rate is lowest. Please, just take care about opening hours of Shekou port visa office:9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.If you get a visa, the first day that counts as your stay is the one starting at midnight from the day of your application, so yes, formally you can exit on your 6th day.You are not allowed to leave the area of Shenzhen city to any other mainland Chinese city while staying on Shenzhen VOA.
