Double layover

Hi, I'm travelling from Seoul to Dubai via China. I have 2 layovers on day 1 (26h) in Shanghai and day 2 (21h) in Urumuqi. Do I need transit VISA in order to get out of airport in Shanghai and Urumuqi?

I'm afraid yes and you do need to apply for a transit visa in advance as your total stay in China is more than 24 hours.
