About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I transit in Shanghai twice on the 144 hr visa in 2 weeks?

I plan to fly from London to Shanghai and stay for three days on the 144 hrs transit visa then fly to the philippines (visa not required) for a week and then return to Shanghai for two days prior to returning to London. On both occasions I will have forwarding flights. Can I get a transit visa on the second entry as well as the first? Thank you

Yes, you can. There is no limit on the number of visa free transits one can use in a certain time frame. Your itinerary, if you have mentioned your all stops, is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit twice. If you fly on separate airlines or with separate tickets, this is acceptable.

Please, just use correct terminology because this is not 144 hour visa, but 144 hour visa free transit. There is no visa at all of any kind.
