Visa to enter China from Laos

I plan to visit Laos in February 2024.

I am coming by train from Vientiane to the northern border.

I have a British and a Luxembourgish passport.

Where should I get my visa?

How long before entry into China should I get the visa.

Generally, you need to get the visa in your home country. Just apply for it in advance in the local Chinese Visa Application Service Center. It is suggested to get it at least 1 month in advance and no more than 3 months.
