About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Thailand - China - Poland

I am a Polish citizen. I have a 1-entry business visa and will be arriving in China for meetings on October 30. Then I'm going to Thailand for more meetings. From Thailand, I am returning to Poland, but I have a long transfer in Canton (2 days) and I would like to visit the fair.
Can I stay in the Canton with 72-Hour Visa-Free Transit in this situation?

Yes, you can if you don't have any other stopover on the way.

Also, please, have in mind that this is not 72, but 144 hour visa free transit. It used to be 72, but it was changed to 144 hour for entire Guangdong province years ago.
