Can I transit through Shanghai twice in a month?

Hi I‘m planning to take this route:

London > Shanghai > Taiwan > Shanghai > London

> with 10 days in Taiwan.

Can I stay up to 144 hours in Shanghai on my first transit and is this route acceptable?

Yes, you can. There is no times limit about the visa-free transit. Just make sure your itinerary is eligible.
