Transit in Shanghai for 6 hours - travelling back from London to New Zealand on a New Zealand PP.

Hi - we are transiting in Shanghai on our trip back from the UK to New Zealand and are on NZ Passports. Our stop over is for 6 hours and we have no intention of leaving the airport. Do we need to have a visa to transit in China for the 6 hours please?
