The best port of entry in every aspect is Shekou port. You can reach it by taking a direct ferry from Hong Kong to Shekou. The most convenient is the first morning catamaran. Please, just have in mind the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30. Aslo, it is important to know that the payment for Shenzhen VOA is done by card only.0
