I am traveling to the United Kingdom using China airlines. Do I need transit visa?

I have a Nigerian passport, but I am a permanent resident in Japan. I will be in China only for a couple of hours waiting to board my flight to the UK.

If your total stay in China is less than 24 hours, you will be covered by the 24-hour visa-free transit.
