About:China Visa Application in UK

Round trip evidence

I am planning to visit China on a trip to Asia and am unsure if I require a round-trip ticket to my home country.

Flying from London into Shanghai we plan to travel around China before departing Hong Kong to Seoul, South Korea. Will an outward ticket from Hong Kong to Seoul be enough evidence to apply and obtain a Chinese L visa or will we need a return plane ticket returning to the UK?

How will you travel to HK from China mainland? You may need to provide ticket for that trip? If you will cross the border by foot, then you may state it clearly and providing the ticket from HK to Seoul shoud be fine.
