visa application in honkong

Question

Hi, I'm traveling in Asia and would like to visit China. I'm from the Netherlands. So if i would apply my Visa in Hongkong or Macau: what are the succes rates compared to my own country? does it affect the chances if i apply from a 3rd world country?         I would like to apply for the tourist visa or business for 1 month. What would you recommand to apply. For the business Visa, I can get a invitation from my factory

It is more suggested to apply for in your home country rather than the third country or region. It does affect you if you apply in HK or Macau.
