About:China Visa on Arrival

Canyon world fair

We have booked a trip to Gaungzhou but it’s too late to get a visa from Australia. would we have much of a chance heading to shenzhen from HongKong and applying in person ? We will be heading to guangzhou for 4 days then back to HongKong all Accomodation is booked there

Shenzhen visa on arrival is only allowed to stay in Shenzhen so this scheme is not possible. However, you may use the 144-hour visa-free transit to follow an itinerary like this: Australia - Guangzhou - HK. Please make sure there is no other stop on the way, and the flight ticket from Guangzhou to HK must be booked in advance.

You can also travel from Guangzhou to HK by ferry, just have the ferry ticket in hand when landing.
