About:Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka

Immigration Clearance certificate

I have received the host organizer Invitation letter with Red seal for participate to sports event in China.
Is the Immigration Clearance certificate, compulsory for China visa ?

You'd better submit it together with other documents, whch helps you get the visa more easily.
