About:Shaolin Temple

Transportation

Please advise how to go to Shaolin temple from Longmen Grottoes by bus. Where is the bus station and operating hour? How to go back from the temple to Longman station?

There used to be 4 buses from Longmen Grottoes to Shaolin Temple, departing at 10:00, 11:00, 13:30 and 14:30. But I'm not clear if they are still in service or not. If not, you need to go back to Longyang Long-distance Bus Station opposite to Luoyang Railway Station, and then take a bus there to Shaolin Temple.

There is no bus from the temple to Longmen Station, but some to Zhengzhou Railway Station. Maybe you can proceed to Zhengzhou to take the train.
