S2 visa

Hey i want to ask that do i need to apply for residence permit for s2 visa too or its duration is already mentioned on passport . Like i applied for my moms S1 visa and in a month i have to apply for residency

If it's an S2 visa, there is no need to change it to a residence permit and its duration of stay will be stated on the visa.
