About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Questions regarding applying & cost

1) Just to confirm, there is no fee to apply for this 144 hour visa exemption for transit?
2) Can you only apply in person at the airport you arrive in? Or can this be done online or at the visa center in home country?

1. There is no fee.
2. You cannot do anything at the visa center in your home country because there is no visa involved at all. It is a transit without visa. You can only apply in the airport when arrive.
