Transit Visa Free Malaysian
Hi, I'm holding a Malaysian Passport. I'm flying from Kuala Lumpur -> Beijing -> London (with a 10 hours transit in Beijing). I would like to stay at the hotel about 5 mins from Beijing airport, do I eligible for the visa free?

Am I eligible for a 24hour transit visa free?

Yes, you are eligible for 24-hour visa free transit. But to leave the airside, you need to apply for a temporary entry permit at the airport; it's free.

Hi Fiona, thanks for your response on my question regards 24 hours visa free transit in guangzhou international airport. Can I also please confirm I be able to exit airport for staying at the hotel around the airport? Which mean pass china immigration. Many thanks

Yes, you can. It is okay for you to apply for a temporary stay permit to get out of the airport.
