Transfer Visa

Hi there, recently I have a work permit and visa in Deqing County Huzhou City. I want to change my work and move to Shenzhen. According to the Shenzhen rules, your last permit or visa must be canceled, and then apply for a Temporary visa in the deqing county. After that, I can allow to apply for a residence permit in Shenzhen. Please clarify whether is it true or not. If it is true then how many days are required to cancel a work visa and apply for a Temporary visa?

It seems you are going to change a work visa into a temporary visa. But how can one apply for a resident permit with a temporary visa. You'd better consult the immigration bureau directly for the issue. Their hotline is 12367.
