About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Transiting in Ghangzou

I am flying from London to Sydney via Ghangzou and only have a 4 hour wait outbound and 8 hours inbound. Can you confirm I only need to tell the airline at check-in in London. I have my visa for Australia and onward tickets. Thank you

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. You will just say at the check-in that you are flying to Australia via Guangzhou by relying on 24 hour visa free transit in Guangzhou. There will be no problems definitely.
