About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Baggage claim
I (Russian passport holder) have 2 flights with different airlines. Flight Vladivostok-Beijing (one airline), Beijing-Nanjing-Sydney (another airline), total transit time through China less than 24 hours, can I collect my luggage and checkin to my next flight in Beijing without a transit visa?
