About:China Visa

Studying in BLCU July-August 2023, then continuing to Tsinghua September 2023 - January 2024

Hi All,

I currently have an X2 Visa to study in BLCU in 2 weeks time until the end of August. However, I am continuing studies after at Tsinghua from September 2023 to January 2024.

I have already been accepted and have received the JW202 form for visa. Is it possible to convert my X2 Visa to an X1 once I am inside China?

You may give it a try but it's not guaranteed you will make it successfully. Usually, one needs to get the X1 visa in their home country.
