Vietnamese - Transit Shanghai 17h- need Covid vaccine certificate or not?

Hello, Vietnamese transit in Shanghai, like to go out of the airport, free visa or not? Do China need us to show Covid Vaccine Certificate? My child is only 10 years old, she has not vaccine yet. Is it ok for my daughter to go out of the airport and visit some sight seeing in Shanhai? Thanks for your soonest feedback. My arrival day July 12th, 2023. BR, Trinh

Since your tansit time is less than 24 hours, you can apply for a temporary entry permit to sightsee in Shanghai.
No covid vaccine is required. But you need to do a self-testing antigen and take a photo of it, just in case it is required
