Exchange

Hello, I am a Chinese language major student and I have an exchange admitted with a university in China. I will be there for 3 months. Should I apply for an exchange visa specifically or am I able to apply for an X1 visa instead. Which is the best option.

As you only stay for 3 months, X1 visa is impossible because it is issued to those stay over 180 days. It is available for you to apply for an X2 visa, with a study duration of less than 180 days.
