About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

I would like to know if this flight combination would be acceptable for a Transit Visa

Nice - Hong Kong - Shanghai - Hong Kong (stop over) - Singapore

This requires a Chinese visa. It is not eligible for visa-free transit, because Hong Kong-Shanghai-Hong Kong is not a transit to a third country.
