Yes, it is... You will exit Shenzhen to Guangzhou by ferry.
By far the most practical ferries are those from Shekou port in Shenzhen. It is provided by CKS - Chu Kong Passenger Transport.
Please, have in mind that you will have to buy your ferry ticket before your departure from the country preceding Shenzhen, print it out and have it with you. Also, you will have to take exactly that ferry that you have bought your ticket for. Please, have in mind that your entire transit time has to be shorter than 24 hours counting from your scheduled arrival in Shenzhen until your scheduled departure from Shenzhen. It can be exactly 24 hours long, but not a minute more that that.0
