Possible entry denial?

Hi. I forgot to register at the police station after moving back from the city where I was working to my SO's city because of covid restrictions and was asked to pay a 2000 yuan fine. After spending a total of 20 hours at the local police station - getting fingerprints taken and writing a statement acknowledging late renewal with reasons - the local officer just took the money and there were no receipts of any kind to show that the fine was paid. I was told that it was a minor issue and would probably not affect my stay. I have since renewed my visa a couple of times with no issues whatsoever.
Would I encounter any issues when re-entering China after a vacation overseas? I have heard of stories where people were denied entry at the airport. I'm going to the PSB to get a local no criminal record cert but I'd greatly appreciate any input in the meantime. Thank you

It should not be a problem as long as you have a valid China visa or resident permit.
