About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Transportation card

Hi, I will be travelling to Guangzhoufrom Shanghai. Can I use Shanghai Transportation card in GZ, Foshan and kaiping jiangmeng?

No, Shanghai transportation card cannot be used in other cities.

Actually, you can open up a WetChat or Alipay account which have different apps to pay for various transport in different cities. I think it is more convenient than applying for different transportation cards.
