About:Hainan 30-Day Visa-Free Access

Enter hainan with free visa without contacting hainan travel agency

I'm Indonesian and I want to travel to Hainan by myself on July for about 2 weeks. If I have my own round-trip air tickets and hotel, can I enter Hainan with a free visa without contacting or joining a travel agency before the arrival? And the worst possibility if I can’t be permitted to enter hainan cause I don’t join the travel agency, what should I do then?

As already mentioned, recent feedback show that you are fine with accommodation bookings, return airline tickets and with some rough itinerary that covers your stay within Hainan province. Anyway, nobody here can confirm something like this and you will also receive a contradictory information beside the possible ignorance by an airline personnel. If I were you I would take a flight to Hainan from Hong Kong only because of their good knowledge of the situation or apply for a Chinese visa in advance.

Generally, there is no problem for you to enter Hainan without a visa but you are not allowed to go to other mainland Chinese cities.
