About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA via Hong Kong train into Shen Zhen

Dear Travel China Guide,
Thank you for providing all the best tips for Visa Application and Travel into China.

We are a Singapore couple, our flight arrives in HK from Taiwan on 6 July. We plan to take the speed train from Hong Kong Airport to Shen Zhen on same day.

Please advise if we can get VOA at Shenzhen Station?

Actually, Hong Kong airport is not served by high speed train and even if it was, high speed train is not an eligible way to enter Shenzhen. My suggestion is that you take a ferry from Hong Kong airport Skypier ferry terminal by CKS (Chu Kong Passenger Transport) ferry company directly to Shekou port in Shenzhen. However, have in mind the the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

In my opinion, this is by far the most straightforward way how to reach Shenzhen from Hong Kong airport.
