About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hours visa for Indian passport holders in Haikou?

I’m Indian passport holder, I am travelling from Hong Kong to Sydney via Haikou. I have to change flight in Haikou and there is no through check-in, that means I have to check out and check in again at Haikou. The stopover is 6 hours. Can I get 24hours visa while transiting from Haikou ?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. I can see that you are mentioning 24 hours visa, but this is just a transit without a visa.

It is true that after your landing in Haikou, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit desk and apply for free for a temporary entry permit because you have to formally enter China because of the nature of your flight. This is not a problem and you will be allowed to perform all the necessary formailities.

So, just one again, this is 24 hour visa free transit and not 24 hour visa.
