About:China Visa on Arrival

VOA for British Citizen

Hi. I am a British Citizen and am looking to travel to Shenzhen. Can this be done via Hong Kong airport? I have done this before where I arrived in HK and took a ferry to Shenzhen & got 5 Day visa.

Yes, of course. This is, in reality, quite a practical way to reach Shenzhen. So, you are familiar with the process of taking a ferry (catamaran) and you should just keep that your destination should be Shekou port in Shenzhen. Please, have in mind the opening hours of Shekou visa office: 9:00 - 13:00 & 14:30 - 16:30.

One more detail... The price of Shenzhen VOA for UK citizens is 314 CNY.
