About:Visa on Arrival

I’m a Filipino postgraduate student in HK. I hold a student visa for my studies in HK.

However, I have not been issued a Chinese visa in the past. Given my student status in HK, will there be a chance for me to be granted a visa? I plan to visit the Guangzhou campus of my university and plan to return to HK within the same day.

Unfortunately, there is no visa on arrival available for Guangzhou. Also, Filipino citizens are not eligible, at least at the time being, for any visa on arrival. Hopefully this will change in the near future, but the situation is now as it is.
