US citizen and passport with a currently active and valid M-visa that I use to visit our factory in Jiangsu. I want to go for a summer holiday as a tourist but I cannot get any guidance on whether I can use my M-Visa or if I need to get a new L-Visa (which I think will cancel my M-Visa and I'll need to get a new M-Visa when I come back to USA). Can you offer any guidance as I much prefer the simplest path of using my existing M.... ?Thanks.

It should not be a problem to use your M visa to spend a holiday in China and there is no need to apply for a new L-visa. Have fun~
