About:Overstaying in China & Penalty

Can you tell me the deportation process?

After been detained for 15 days, what’s the way forward? Like, who buys the ticket back home? And do you get to go back wherever you were staying to pick up your belongings?

In addition to being detained, those overstayed will also be fined and they themselves should pay for the ticket back to their homecountry. If they cannot pay for it, their embassy or consulate in China should pay for it.
