Requirements for U.S. citizen to take train from Hong Kong to Changsha

Dear,

I plan to fly from Chicago to LA, and from LA to Taipei and arrive in Hong Kong on May 1. I would like to take same day high speed train from Hong Kong to Changsha. Please let me know what requirements or restrictions for a U.S. passport holder to take high speed train? Do I still need to show 48 hours valid COVID testing proof?

Yes, in addition to the visa, a covid test not older than 48 hours is still needed when boarding the train.
