About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit in Guangdong

Russian citizens transit during Canton fair

Hello As Russian citizen can we fly from Hong Kong to GUANGZHOU apply for 144 transit visa with purpose visiting canton fair ? and fly to third country before 144 hours end ? Is there any possibility that they can reject because we came for business ? also can you also please inform about covid testing obligations before entering ( green code) before entering GUANGZHOU . Thank you

Is eligible for 144 hours visa free transit. Anyway, you should be aware that you will have to fly from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and also your flight from Guangzhou to some third country cannot have any additional landing within mainland China.

Chinese authorities do not care about the purpose of your stay in Guangdong province, but you should have a confirmation of your accommodation bookings.

Your Covid test should not be older than 48 hours at the time of boarding of your flight from Hong Kong to Guangzhou and you should have it in hard copy.
