About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Police clearance

Do I need to obtain police clearance from my country in order to get a work visa, temporary residence permit, or permanent residence permit?

If so, how long is the police clearance valid for? EG: I got my 2 years ago, can I still use it next month?

The police clearance is not necessary. If it is required, the one got 2 years ago will not be valid.
