About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

Previous Visas were Q2 on my Australian Passport Is a 10yr Visa possible on my UK passport?

My wife and I have booked flights to arrive Shanghai 13 April via Australia, intending to resume our regular trips to China to visit family and friends. My wife is a Chinese citizen.

My previous Q2 Visas were on my Australian Passport but I also hold a UK passport, both expire in 2032. Is a 10 year or 5 year Family Reunion visa now available to me on either passport? If only available on the UK passport will applying now on that passport delay the application process?

I currently work in Denmark where we have residency.

For UK passport holders, they need to have a 5-year visa before applying for a 10-year one, so you may only obtain a 5-year one. Are you going to apply in Denmark? If so, your residence permit there is required.
