About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Teaching in China

Do we disclose our status yes or no to our agent? The reason I’m asking is that most people who disclose their status get rejected secondly some areas in China don’t check for hiv as mandatory instead they check for hepatitis and other diseases. Can you please advise us guys please I would love to go to China for work but my worry is my status.

I think you should disclose your status to avoid very possible issues in the future after entering China. They ask for medical form either when applying for the visa or when applying for residence permit upon arrival. See details: https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/work.htm
