Visa for US passport holder - Processing Time and Visa Fees

Hi, good morning. Please advise the following:-

1) For US passport holder - do we need to apply for a business visa?
2) Can we apply for "Multiple" entries and for a period of 2 or 5 or 10 years?
3) What is the visa fees?
4) What is the processing time?
5) If we need the visa on an urgent basis, what is the fastest processing time?
6) Is the Singapore Visa Office for China and China Embassy Singapore closed during the Chinese New Year holidays and please advise the holiday closure period?

1) Yes, US passport holders need a visa to enter China.
2) Yes, but it is not so easy as to apply for a single entry one.
3)The fee is USD140.
4) The processing time is usually 4 working days.
5) You can get it the same day paying extra USD 30, or the 2nd or 3rd day paying extra USD20.
6)Yes. China Visa Application Service Center will close from January 21 -25 during Chinese New Year.
